Quick Tutorial

  2. Choose Test Mode: Adaptive Test, Regular Test: Beginner, Regular Test: Expert . Choose 'Adaptive Test' by default to experience the adaptive test environment. Regular Test is non adaptive test using the same question set with predefined difficulty level.

  4. Select module you want to test

  6. Do the test by answering 25 questions. You may quit the test before reaching last question. During the test, your score and statistics are always informed.
  7. Test Completion
  8. Your score will be ranked compare to score in our Hall of Fame. You may submit your score to hall of fame.
  9. Hall of Fame
  10. See your name and score live up in Hall of Fame.

Features

Adaptive Test

Adaptive Test is the core service of this web gadget. The test supplies 25 slightly random questions based on test takers capacities. The next question will be harder for every question answer right, and vice versa.

Auto Improvement

The web gadget is armed with auto improvement, which is an artificial intelligence to rearrange difficulty level of questions based on usage statistics. This feature enable test makers (teachers/lecturers/instructurs) to just put their set of question into our system and the system will automatically iniate the difficulty level and then it will rearrange automatically during usage.

Regular Test

Regular Test is complementary test. It is non adaptive. We have regular test for beginner and regular test for experts.Beginner Test supplies 25 easiest questions, mostly used to beginners (as the name implies). Expert test supplies 25 harders questions, mostly for expert veteran or test taker ready for exams.

Key Answer Display

Test takers will be given key answers after each answered question.

Multiple Multiple Choice (MMC)

This feature enables a type of question with more than 1 different key answers. The choices will be displayed as checkboxes instead of regular radio button.

Notes:

Test takers shall answer the question with exact match key answers. There is no half point on partial right answer (example: if the key is A,C, and D and test takers choose A and D, then it is considered as wrong answer.

Scoring Methods

This web gadget has 3 types of scoring method:

Flat Score, is scoring method which values every question with the same points.

Weighed Score, is scoring method which values every question with the same base points + additional point modifier based on difficuly level.

Level Score, is scoring method which is based on last question answered right by test takers. It is suitable for adaptive test which a test taker may quit the test after reaching targeted difficulty level

Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame keeps data of top scorers to showcase their name and results. Mostly it is used to challange other test takers to beat the score. Position rank will be presented in following priority.

2. Weighted Score

3. Level

The score will retained for only 3 months after submission.

Random Choice Placement

Random choices placement is to randomly put choices with different keys. It is used to avoid test takers answer question by memorizing the key answer. Currently this feature is turned off in favor of feature Key Answer Display due to conflict of interest.

Feedback

This feature enables test taker to submit feedback during the test for each question. Test takers may report question with incorrect answers(according to test takers' believe), irrelevant or inappropriate question, question with missing picture or has typo error. This feature shall improve quality of the question materials in this system.
